V&A PATTERN: This Spitalfields travel line is based on the beautiful designs created for the silk industry in London's East End, held in the V&A collection. It draws inspiration from an astonishing design from about 1719 created by Huguenot master weaver and designer, James Leman (1688–1745). Reinvented and hand-painted in the Cabin Zero studio, the large stylised floral evokes a feeling of escapism with its rich foliage and exotic elements based on the 18th century taste for artefacts imported from the East Indies, China and India.

V&A PATTERN: Luxuriously woven in fine silks and silver and gilded threads, Iranian textiles are among the most celebrated works in the V&A collection. The Azar travel line showcases an original dress fabric’s dense pattern of flaming lotus flowers in foliate scrolls and combines the artistry of 19th century Persian textiles with Cabin Zero’s cutting-edge style for a timeless look.

V&A PATTERN: Our Jasmine travel line features a textile design held in the V&A collection by William Kilburn (1745–1818). The simple all-over floral pattern is derived from one of the V&A's treasures, the Kilburn Album, which holds over 200 drawings for chintz. Produced around 1788–92, the delicate floral instantly transports our senses to the Far East, revealing the designer's brilliant skill in pattern-making and botanical drawing. Originally intended for fashion, this design still brings delicacy and elegance to any look 250 years later.

V&A PATTERN: This lively design is inspired by the stylised paisley patterns popular for woven shawls in the Victorian era designed by George Haité (1825–71) in the V&A collection. Haité was a well-known and prolific designer of shawl patterns. By 1850, he and his fellow designers were drawing enormous and fantastic all-over pine-cone patterns of brilliant colour with large repeats. The swirling buta motif in dazzling pinks and jades prefigures the patterns we associate with 1970s fashion. The Paisley travel line will liven up any outfit and adventure.
